Mission Trip Opportunities for 2008
Pastor Jim Chamberlain from Fernandina Beach, FL will be taking a team to Africa on January 12-21, 2009 and will be taking a team to Nicaragua on February 5-10, 2009 and he is looking for a team to go with Him.

Purpose of the Trip
The purpose is to support missionaries (Kingspride and Priscilla Hammond), set up the new eye clinic, and make arrangements for eye surgery. We will also conduct several days of eye clinic. We would also have ample opportunity to teach and preach as desired.

On the first two trips to Nicaragua, we have seen 750 people in our clinics and dispensed 550 pairs of eyeglasses...all in Name of Jesus! The trips have been awesome. We've encouraged and prayed for all of our patients, given out Bibles, preached the Word and enjoyed the culture of the Moskito people.

Cost of the Trip
GHANA, AFRICA- Total cost is yet to be determined but the airfare to Africa is around $1800. Total cost would be somewhere around $2500.
Puerto Cabaezas, Nicaragua- Total cost is approx. $950 (depends on your location - air flight tickets are the biggest expense.)

Prior Training
You don't need to know anything about eye care.Ê You will be trained on the job. We minister to the Moskito Indians of eastern Nicaragua in the town of Puerto Cabezas which is located on the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua.

All the Details
You would purchase your own air ticket and meet the team in Managua, Nicaragua. You would need to be in Managua sometime in the afternoon of Feb. 5, 2009, where we would all meet up. All arrangements for our time in Nicaragua will beÊtaken care for you.

Extra Words of Encouragement
If you've always wanted to go on a mission trip but have not had the chance, this trip is excellent for 'first-timers'. The work is good, the travel is not too hard, the food is good and it is about as inexpensive as you will find. The size of the team will be limited to ten (10). I invite you to go.
